HAV-Sentry set out to eliminate Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome by giving operatives real-time exposure alerts and providing safety teams with ISO-compliant data they could act on immediately. Judges were most impressed with the technical detail, palm positioning, auto-calibration, and ISO standard validation, coupled with evidence that the device has already influenced updated HSE guidance and is being rolled out by tier-one contractors. This entry moved the industry from estimating vibration risk to measuring and preventing it, turning an invisible health threat into something managers can control and workers can trust."
