Nick has spent the last 12 years as an innovation and continuous improvement professional having worked in the build environment and energy sectors. His current role as Business Improvement & Innovation Lead for Bouygues sees him deployed on Sizewell C where he is responsible for the design and delivery of innovations and operational improvement across the Civil Works Alliance. He has a passion for innovation and using technology to address the impact of climate change having work across the spectrum of renewable energy, from onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage technologies. He has a BEng in Mining Engineering from the University of Leeds, is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is a member of the Association for Project Management. Nick is also a former Army officer having served for seven years in the Corps of Royal Engineers in the UK, Germany and Afghanistan.
