Marcus has been a member of the HLM team since 1995, and from the outset he was quick to make the most of his CAD and general IT knowledge. His combined understanding of the Architectural process and computing helped develop early CAD standards and procedures, improving business efficiency dramatically. From here, this rapidly developed into HLM’s Digital Strategy, encompassing all areas of Digital Construction and Transformation. Marcus believes that the correct use of technology and digital processes can transform both the Architectural profession and the wider construction industry, as well as provide valuable efficiencies to the company. Innovation is at the heart of everything Marcus and his team do, recently establishing HLM_RaD a dedicated R&D function within the practice to develop, enhance and provide greater efficiency to support the companies Thoughtful Design ethos.
