Hugh has 17 years of experience in the Infrastructure Industry and is currently involved in a BIM Manager role within the UK region of Hazen and Sawyer, Hugh specialises in BIM Strategy, Management and Implementation as well as Asset Management. Hugh is also a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and has spent a large percentage of his career in Project Management. Hugh has engaged in many large-scale Water & Waste Water, M&E and Environmental schemes both in Mainland UK, Ireland, Scotland and in the Channel Islands. Hugh has been involved in roles including Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, BIM, Site Supervisory, Commissioning and SCADA Integration as well as undertaking Detailed Design, Business Development, Programme Delivery and Costings for many high-profile clients. Hugh is currently leading the Information Management and Digital strategy within the Hazan and Sawyer UK region to develop and utilise BIM standards and is a member of the BIM4WATER task group.
