An Engineer of multiple disciplines utilising the adoption of technology in several sectors for the past 40 years. The last decade has been data driven infrastructure asset management strategy utilising the latest AI and ML techniques to improve on performance, efficiency and environmental impacts in the rail sector. Since becoming a Chartered IT Professional in AI & Data Science with the British Computer Society (BCS), I continue to promote responsible adoption of AI technology with consultation works internally within Network Rail and with the BSI, RSSB, GBRX and DfT for guiding policy and input to ISO/IEC and CEN/CELLEC standards. I am an avid promoter of the values of my company and the BCS which I undertake with mentoring schemes for graduates, STEM activities with budding engineers and data scientists, and a volunteer in BCS run TEALS scheme with local schools.
