Rachel Heaps leads digital transformation projects in the UK Construction Industry. Working with Tier 1, 2 and 3 contractors including Costain, Balfour Beatty, and Tarmac, and their Supply Chain Partners, to identify opportunities and problem statements for digital change programmes. Managing the delivery of ideas from concept to transition along the project lifecycle. Rachel has led digital transformation on major projects in the Infrastructure Sector including The Regeneration of Heathrow, the Smart Motorways Programme Alliance, and projects on the strategic road network. Rachel is a previous Finalist of the Construction News Award’s Digital Construction Project of the Year for the project delivery of work on the M3 J9 – J14 which used digital transformation to unlock the value of integrated project supply chains. Rachel lives in Staffordshire with her two daughters and is an advocate for construction worker rights.
