Sam Stacey is a construction industry leader and specialist in construction innovation. He has a unique perspective on the built environment, having served on various boards. He began his career at Buro Happold and went on to specialize in Design Management and Innovation with Wates and Skanska. He combines technical know-how with degrees from some of the world’s leading universities: in Architecture from the University of Cambridge, Engineering from Imperial College, and an MBA from Henley Business School. From 2018 to 2022 Sam led the implementation of the UK Government’s industrial strategy for construction as Director of the acclaimed Transforming Construction Challenge. Sam is currently Chairman of SustainCRE.
