Annette has 25 years’ experience in the transport sector. She has held a variety of roles at National Highways, predominantly focused on managing research programmes and spent five years as Head of Innovation. In 2023, Annette joined the Department for Transport as Deputy Chief Scientific Adviser, promoting science and innovation across the transport sector.
