Neil Pennell is Head of Design Innovation & Property Solutions at Landsec, where he shapes the design, delivery and performance of technically advanced, sustainable commercial buildings. This involves a wide remit to drive innovation and the application of new technology, including, AI, advanced building analytics, IoT, BIM, modern methods of construction, smart building and Prop Tech solutions. Neil is a board member of the British Council of Offices (BCO) and chairs the Technical Affairs Committee which is responsible for producing the BCO’s industry leading technical publications. His influence extends across the wider built environment through his membership of the Construction Productivity Taskforce and Construction Clients Leadership Group as well as his remit to drive innovation into building design and construction processes at Landsec.
