I've worked in highways, civil engineering and digital delivery for 26 years, and I'm currently an Associate Director at WSP. Over that time I've been involved in projects ranging from local highway improvements to major national infrastructure programmes, including HS2 and Sizewell C. Much of my work sits between engineering, technology and project delivery, helping teams make better use of data, information management and digital tools to design and deliver complex projects. I'm a member of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) and a Fellow at the the Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE). I enjoy seeing practical applications of technology that solve real problems, whether that's improving how projects are delivered, making better use of information, or helping people work more effectively. As a TechFest judge, I'm particularly interested in ideas that combine technical innovation with clear, measurable benefits for Users and organisations.
